Caregiver

• Applicants must generally be between 18 and 40 years old to qualify for the visa.

Skills and Qualification
• Nursing Care Skills:
• Pass the Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Test (NCET), which assesses the applicant’s
caregiving knowledge and practical skills.
• Training or prior experience in caregiving is an advantage but not always mandatory.
• Japanese Language Proficiency:
• Pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 or higher, or
• Pass the Japan Foundation Test for Basic Japanese (JFT-Basic).
• Applicants must have basic communication skills to interact with patients and
colleagues effectively.

• Applicants must be in good physical and mental health to perform hospitality-related tasks, which may include long hours and physical labor.

Valid Passport and Documents
• Provide a valid passport and other necessary identification documents.

- Applicants must have no criminal record.

• The initial visa is valid for up to 5 years (renewable annually or biannually).
• Workers cannot bring family members under the SSW Type 1 visa.
